High Wire

August 7, 1974. Dawn over New York City.

HIGH WIRE is a tightrope game in three walks. First Paris, 1971 — between the towers of Notre Dame at dusk. Then Sydney, 1973 — across the Harbour Bridge in daylight, white gulls startling off the wire. Then the walk itself: 200 feet between the Twin Towers, in three reels, as the sun comes up.

 Hold and drag to keep your balance against the wind. Watch the needle, mind the pigeons, and don't look down.
